Clock Opera and Labrinth will be appearing at Hackney House (1st August and 10th August respectively)
Hackney House is making a significant contribution to the economic and social legacy of the 2012 Games. By showcasing our business and creative talent we will make sure that Hackney is firmly on the international investor and visitor map. There will be a full programme of events during the day and evening during Games time. During the day we will be showcasing a plethora of creative, tech, cultural, tourism, food and development businesses. Hackney House will play host to international investors, business leaders and dignitaries, all of whom will be introduced to our vast array of local business and creative talent. In the evenings we will present a programme that shows of our wealth of local performance talent to the full. We will have sets from some significant international artists all of whom have strong links to Hackney. The full programme will be confirmed in the coming weeks. Confirmed highlights include:

Opening Night Party // Friday 27th July
EVENING: Opening night invitation-only launch party. Hackney-born singing sensation Paloma Faith will open Hackney House before we cross live to the Opening Ceremony. For people not lucky enough to get tickets to the Opening Ceremony this is the hottest ticket in town!

Architecture Showcase // 28th – 29th July
DAY TIME: Architecture Weekend, a public event showcasing Hackney's best architectural designs and innovative ideas for the future shape of the borough.
SATURDAY EVENING: Comedy Night with Hardeep Singh, Des O'Connor and Johnny Cochrane followed by DJ Prince Nelly.
SUNDAY EVENING: Kankoma Soundway followed by DJ Ben Pistor.
